Kings XI take on Daredevils on Saturday

Dharamsala, May 18: After their loss to Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils would look to get their campaign back on track though they have qualified for the play-offs, while they take on Kings XI Punjab, also in need of a win to stay alive in the tournament as they clash against each other at Dharamsala on Saturday.

Its an important game for Kings XI Punjab as they play their last league match against Delhi Daredevils at Dharamsala, after a convincing six-wicket win over defending champions Chennai Super Kings.

Adam Gilchrist's return boosted the confidence of Kings XI Punjab, as he returned with style, four catches and a 46-ball unbeaten 64 to guide their team to a six wicket win with 21 balls to spare as they were set a target of 121 by CSK.

With Azhar Mahmood and others also contributing to the team's success, Punjab can look to upset table toppers, Delhi Daredevils on Saturday.

Punjab placed sixth with 16 points, need to win their last league match to stay alive in the tournament. The team looks balanced as bowlers and batsmen are contributing to the team's success.

On the other hand, Virender Sehwag who missed the previous match against Royal Challengers Bangalore might play the match against Kings XI Punjab, as Delhi Daredevils also need to get their winning momentum back ahead of the play-offs.

Though they have qualified for the play-offs, it is a crunch game as Kings XI are desperate for a win to fancy their chances as well.

Morne Morkel might be rested for another match to give Andre Russell a second chance, as he can return to the side for the play-offs.

With Gilchrist back in the team, Punjab expect another upset win against Daredevils on Saturday to end their campaign on a high and stay afloat in the tournament.
