Pakistan T20 League to begin in October

Islamabad, Jun 10: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Zaka Ashraf said that the Pakistan Premier League is likely to start by October this Year.

Ashraf further said they planned to start the league this october but due to Pakistan Twenty20 champions Sialkot Stallions participation in the Champions League, the schedule will be adjusted by a few days.

"Our plans were to start the league in the month of October this year. However this may have to be adjusted due to the Sialkot Stallions team taking part in the Champions League at that time," Ashraf said

Ashraf said it is mandatory for Sialkot players to participate in the Twenty20 league.

"It is imperative that the players of Sialkot take part in the Pakistani Twenty over tournament and for that reason we will adjust the dates by a few days here and there. I'm hopeful that the tournament can still take place this year," he added.
