UAE, Pakistan Cricket's new home?

Islamabad, Jun 30: Pakistan Cricket Board has made an official announcement regarding the bilateral series between Australia and Pakistan as they are scheduled to play three one day internationals and three T20s at UAE in August.

It is now official that UAE will be hosting the ODI and T20 series between Australia and Pakistan. The tour itinerary will be finalised by end of the first week of July.

PCB spokesperson Nadeem Sarwar has said that the ODIs would start at 6 PM local time to counter extreme daylight heat in UAE, while the T20s would start at 8PM sharp.

The matches between Australia and Pakistan will be played at Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Pakistan has been forced to conduct home series at a neutral venue as the international teams have cited secutiry reasons to tour the country post the attack on Sri Lankan team bus.

Recently PCB chief Zaka Ashraf had also expressed his displeasure saying that none of the international teams showed interest in touring Pakistan and admitted that the teams had cited security concerns for touring the nation.

With UAE being their alternate venue to host home series, Pakistan have found a home 'away from home' to host their matches.
