Mysore, Jul 16: The Wall of Indian Cricket, Rahul Sharad Dravid known for his cool and calm composure has revealed another facet of his personality by adopting two African huntiung cheetahs in his sons' names during his visit to Mysore Zoo on Sunday.
Mr Dependable showed why he is called so by adopting two cheetahs following the loss of three African Hunting Cheetahs in less than a month, and lend his hand towards helping the Zoo.
Dravid, who arrived at the Zoo to inaugurate the Youth club activities had not revealed his plans to adopt the cheetahs, as the officials present there weren't aware of it.
The man known for his simplicity, also hesitated to make the announcement public having adopted the the cheetahs (Brinda and Tejas) for Rs 50,000 each in the names of his children.
After Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Javagal Srinath and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Dravid has joined his team mates by adopting animals at Mysore Zoo.
While Kumble had adopted a giraffe calf (Lakshmi) and a Asiatic Lion, Zaheer Khan and Dhoni had adopted a Royal Bengal Tiger each.
With this gesture, Dravid continues to be Mr Dependable forever.
