Bangalore, Aug 10: Australian spin legend Shane Warne has congratulated Yuvraj Singh after the Indian left-hander made it to the World Twenty20 squad on Friday.
Yuvraj battled a rare germ-cell cancer and underwent chemotherapy in the US. His last appearance for India was in a Test against West Indies in November, 2011. Two months back, he resumed training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Warne had earlier written onhis twitter page, "@YUVSTRONG12 Great to hear the training is going well mate, well done & keep up the good work my friend..."
Former India captain Sourav Gangly also welcomed Yuvraj's inclusion in the team.
Yuvraj is also part of the Indian T20 team for the two-match home series against New Zealand. India will face Kiwis on September 8 and 11 in two T20Is.
ICC World T20 will begin in Sri Lanka on September 18. The final is on October 7.
