I love cricket, want to play IPL: Bolt

London, Aug 11: World's fastest man, Usain Bolt who created history by claiming a double at Olympic Games in London on Thursday, seems to be interested in playing the shortest format of Cricket, Twenty20 and has expressed his desire to play the Indian Premier League.

The Jamaican athlete who has rocked the world with his speed and pace, is all set to draw attention from cricket admirers, as he has shown interest in playing India's cash-rich domestic T20 league- IPL.

"I definitely love cricket. Twenty20 is the game for me and whenever I get time, I try to catch up with as much IPL action as possible," Bolt said after his historic double-double at the Olympic Games on Thursday night.

Though it was just a desire that was expressed by Bolt, as he said many fans in India love him and he was aware of it.

"If offered a chance, I will play," he joked. "I know I have a lot of fans in India.

Moreover, quiz him about his cricketing skills, the world's fastest man is quick to respond as he played a charity match and faced the most destructive player, T20 specialist Chris Gayle and also dismissed him.

"You very well know who the biggest star in IPL is -- Chris Gayle. And I have got his wicket. No need to say anything more!"
