Dubai, Aug 17: The International Cricket Council extends deadline for announcing the final 15 member squad for the upcoming ICC World T20 to be held in Sri Lanka next month till Aug 24, Friday.
The governing council received a few requests from the concerned cricket boards which forced the International Cricket Council to extend the deadline by six days.
"All participating men's teams must have its 15-player squads into the ICC no later than Friday 24 August 2012," ICC stated in a release.
"The date for the women's teams to submit its 15-player squads for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012 remains unchanged and must still be submitted to the ICC by Sunday 26 August 2012," it added.
