Hyderabad, Aug 23: Sachin Tendulkar, playing his first match for India after becoming a Member of Parliament, yet again fell to a newcomer. This time it was Trent Boult.
Tendulkar could contribute only 19 runs in his first innings after being nominated to the Rajya Sabha.
The Master Blaster, over the years, has made it a habit of "gifting" his wickets to tyros.
Boult, who is playing in his fifth Test match, did bowl a good ball to break through the defence of Tendulkar.
The 23-year-old was naturally delighted to scalp the "big fish." Previously he had taken 12 wickets in four Tests against West Indies.
Boult will remember his 13th Test wicket for a very long time.
In India's previous Test series against Australia, James Pattinson had claimed Tendulkar's wicket during the four-match rubber.
Also, England left-arm spinner Monty Panesar dismissed Tendulkar for his maiden Test wicket in Nagpur in 2006.
Last year, during the 2011 World Cup, 19-year-old spinner George Dockrell of Ireland had sent back Tendulkar.
Tendulkar, who is about to complete 23 years in international cricket in November, is a dream scalp for any bowler. And if you are a new kid in the game, dismissing him is extra special.
