Hyderabad, Aug 27: India defeated New Zealand by an innings and 115 runs, to mark its second largest win against them in Tests at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Here are the highlights of Day 4, which was an excellent day for the Indians despite bad weather.

# Chris Martin recorded his third successive duck against India, as he was out for a nought at Nagpur in Novemeber 2010, followed by a pair in the first Test against New Zealand at Hyderabad

# India's win by an innings and 115 runs marks its second as it had also won the previous match at Nagpur in Nov 2010, by an innings.

# New Zealand has lost to India by an innings in a couple of occasions, as witnessed their first loss at Chennai (innings and 109 runs) and second in Mumbai (innings and 27 runs) in the year 1955-56, while they lost to India by an innings and 198 runs in Nagpur in the year 2010, which happens to be the largest win margin for India over Kiwis

# For the first time in the history of an Indian Test wins, Zaheer Khan has failed to take a single wicket.

# Chris Martin now has a tally of seven Test pairs ( most ducks by any player), which is unlikely to be surpassed

# Zaheer Khan has got three pairs as he recorded his 26th duck in Tests against New Zealand in the first innings

# New Zealand lost its last seven wickets for 26 runs, its worst performance against India in Tests

# Virat Kohli took four catches for the first time in a Test match

# Ashwin's 6/31 and 6/54 suggests that he has taken more than five wickets in each innings for the first time in a Test match

# Ashwin is the only Indian bowler to have recorded more than five wickets in each innings against New Zealand in Tests

# Ashwin (12/85) also recorded his best bowling figures for the match as his 9/128 against West Indies at Kotla in Delhi (2011-12) was considered as his best.

# The tall spinner also received his third man of the match award in Tests

# Virender Sehwag also took four catches against New Zealand in a Test match for the first time
