New Delhi, Aug 31: India's latest sensation Unmukt Chand, who led his team to its third U-19 World Cup title, said it doesn't have any issues or grudges with the college, after he was denied promotion following shortage of attendance.
With a lot of things happening, Unmukt Chand breaks his silence over academics row, as he called for a press-conference at Delhi this morning and cleared the air as he said that it wasn't a major issue.
Unmukt was quite philosophical at 19, as he said patience is the key to success.
"I think being patient is the best approach to life. I have been patient," said Unmukt Chand
"Success does not always come easily. One has to work hard", he added.
* It was a tough tournament in Australia but we managed to come out on top. I am happy that we did.
He also commented on the academics row, as he said that it wasn't a major issue and he had no issues or grudges with the College.
"I was allowed to sit in the exams after court order"
"Colleges should make special rules for those involved in sports," he said.
"I am on great terms with the college," he added.
