New Delhi, Sep 3: With less than 15 days to go for ICC World T20 to begin, the official broadcasters of the event have announced that they will be using 27 cameras for every game to be played during the T20 World Cup which is starting on September 18, 2012.
"We will have 27 cameras for each of the matches. We will also have Touch Screen cricket presentation tool in our analysis hows round live coverage," said Alok Malik, managing Director of ESPN Software India Private Ltd.
Malik also added that fans liked the touch screen presentation during the first Test at Hyderabad between India and New Zealand, which prompted the broadcasters to include that as well for ICC World T20.
Moreover he also said that upto 80% of on-air sales were closed which was also a good sign.
"We have signed two joint presenting sponsors in Reliance and Havells. Some of the co-sponsors are Pepsico, Hyundai, Pernod Ricard, Nokia, Tata Motors," he added.
Malik said,"He will be one of the in-studio analysts."
However, the ICC General Manager, Campbell Jamieson also said that for the first time, ICC has managed to get the best reach in terms of broadcast, as people of 218 territories including South America can get access to the watch the action as it unfolds.
