New Sponsors for SA T20 team

New Delhi, Sep 7: The South African T20 squad has found new sponsors in Blue Label Telecoms, and will be named after its sponsors till March 2013, according to Cricket South Africa statement.

South Africa is scheduled to play 8 T20 internationals during this period and the sponsorship that they have got from Blue Label is a short-term agreement that ends in March 2013.

Proteas are playing three T20s against England in the on-going series while they are expected to play three against New Zealand in December this year and two T20 internationals against Pakistan in March 2013.

"It gives us great pleasure to welcome Blue Label Telecoms to the CSA family," commented CSA Acting CEO Jacques Faul.

"As it is Blue Label Telecoms' first foray into sponsorship they have asked for an initial short term agreement to the end of March, 2013, with the first rights to renew thereafter," Jacques Faul added.

Though they are the sponsors of the T20 team, it doesn't include the rights for ICC World T20 in Sri Lanka that is starting on September 18, 2012, as it clashes with ICC's events.
