New Delhi, Sep 10: India's batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has made things easier for his admirers to get in touch with him, as he has officially created a profile on a social networking site, Facebook on Monday and had more than 4,10,000 likes within a couple of hours.
Sachin Tendulkar has been active on Twitter, another micro-blogging site, since 2010 (@sachin_rt) as he has over 26,80,790 followers.
Now, with master blaster joining Facebook, it would definitely be the best way to reach the star. Indeed the legendary cricketer has launched his official page to interact with fans.
"Hello friends, I'll like to welcome you to my facebook family. As a child I always dreamt of playing cricket for India and I chased my dream of winning the World Cup for 22 years. It wouldn't have been possible without your support."
"I wanna take this opportunity to thank all of you for having prayed for me and wish well for me. I look forward to sharing my experience with you, join me on my facebook so that we both can share this experience and go through this journey together," the legendary cricketer wrote.
It is learnt that the official page of Sachin Tendulkar on Facebook will be managed by Seven3Rockers. Interestingly, the page (https://www.facebook.com/SachinTendulkar) will also have some exclusive pictures of the 'little master', according to reports.
