Bangalore, Sep 10: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shifted Irani Cup 2012 game from Jaipur to Bangalore's M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Due to poor weather conditions at the original city, the BCCI on Monday decided to give the hosting rights to Bangalore.
"We are ready to host the game," said former India cricketer, Vijay Bharadwaj, who is a Managing Committee member of Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).
Recently, Bangalore hosted India and New Zealand Test mach and the pitch here came in for high praise from players.
Irani Cup, to be played between Rest of India and Ranji Trophy champions, Rajasthan, will be Indian domestic season 2012-13's opener.
Irani Cup will be held from September 21 to 25.
