Yuvraj to write a book on his father

Chandigarh, Sep 24: India's Yuvraj Singh, is all set to don the role of an author as he has plans to write a book on his father, Yograj Singh, titled 'Arrogant Master'.

The 30 year old cricketer, who battled cancer and made a strong comeback to the national side, is expected to pen a book on his father.

According to Yograj Singh, Yuvraj has planned to write a book titled 'Arrogant Master', which would include everything about the days spent together with his father, his cricketing career, and how he battled cancer.

"He is writing a book on me, whose title will be 'Arrogant Master'. The book will deal with the days we spent together, what all incidents we went through, his journey in becoming a cricketer and his battle with cancer and how he came out of it with everyone's blessings and support," Yograj Singh said.

When questioned on the title of the book, Yograj Singh laughed and said he wanted Yuvraj to become a good cricketer while his son wanted to become a skater and was also interested in playing Tennis.

"But I was keen that he should become a good cricketer and moulded him that way because I thought he will have some future in the sport," he said.

Further Yograj also added that Yuvraj will be sharing his Cancer experience on the small screen soon.

Talking about his son's battle with cancer, Yograj felt it was a transitional phase, as it changed his life completely.

"I want to say only that it has changed Yuvi completely. "It has been a U-turn for Yuvi, if I can put it that way. I also wanted him to be a saintly person, who will wake up early and offer prayers.

"After his battle with cancer, he has evolved as a person, become more quiet and his whole complexion has changed. I also want to thank the Almighty, Yuvi's millions of fans and the media, who supported him all through".

He further added that his son's idea to pen a book had also inspired Yograj, as he will also be writing a book titled "My Lost Days" which would include his experience in the film iundustry and his cricketing career.
