Mohali, Oct 4: India's off spinner Harbhajan Singh, who made a comeback to the national T20 squad, was named captain of Punjab Ranji trophy team as Yuvraj Singh who also made a comeback after battling cancer has been included in the squad.
The selection committee that met at Mohali on Wednesday, named a 15-member squad at Mohali for the upcoming domestic season.
Mandeep Singh, who excelled for Kings XI Punjab in the fifth edition of Indian Premier League, has been named as the vice-captain of the squad.
The 15-member squad is expected to report on October 8, to undergo a camp under the guidance of Punjab bowling coach, Harvinder Singh.
"Apart from the camp, the players will play two 2-day matches to assess their fitness level," said M P Pandove, Honorary Secretary, PCA.
While the selection committee also picked the U-25 squad as they named Taruwar Kohli as the captain.
