CLT20: Schedule; Results; Points Table

After being handed a heavy defeat by Delhi Daredevils in the opener on Saturday night, KKR will have to regroup quickly and return to winning ways.

The tournament has now moved to Cape Town and this will be the first game at Newlands. This is also first match for Auckland.

KKR were destroyed by DD paceman while chasing 161. Gautam Gambhir-led side were kept to 108/7 in 20 overs with Morne Morkel, Irfan Pathan, Umesh Yadav and Ajit Agarkar sharing those seven scalps between them.

Auckland came through the qualifying stage and will look to upset KKR who look a better team than the New Zealand outfit.

For KKR, Gambhir has to score big at the top of the order. In recent times, the left-hander has not been in great form. He and Manvinder Bisla have to click as openers.

With the experienced Brendon McCullum up against his countrymen, he will know the bowlers. McCullum is also key for KKR's chances.

Sunil Narine will be KKR's biggest weapon as many of Auckland's batsmen might not have faced him.

KKR will start as favourites for this game.
