Johannesburg, Oct 21: Chennai Super Kings batsman Michael Hussey has left for Australia and will not be taking further part in the Champions League, the team announced on Saturday.
Hussey was heading home due to "personal and family reasons." Hussey did not play on Saturday.
"Mike Hussey is leaving for Australia and will not play any more matches. Mike Hussey leaves back to Australia due to personal and family reasons," the Chennai team said.
Chennai are out of contention for a semi-final slot after Higveld Lions defeated Yorkshire in a Group B match on Saturday. However, they beat Mumbai Indians by six runs later on Saturday night and will finish off the tournament with a game against Yorkshire on Monday.
