Mumbai, Oct 26: Sachin Tendulkar is set to return to Ranji Trophy action as the Master Blaster on Friday was included in the Mumbai team for their season opening game against Railways at the Wankhede Stadium from November 2. Zaheer Khan is also in the squad, which will be captained by Ajit Agarkar.
A media release from Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) Joint Secretary, Nitin Dalal, announced the team. A few weeks back, it had emerged that both Tendulkar and Zaheer would be playing.
Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane are also in the squad.
Tendulkar will be hoping to get back to form ahead of the Test series against England, which starts on November 15. His last appearance in a Ranji Trophy game was in January 2009. Then, he had played in the final against Uttar Pradesh in Hyderabad.
