"Graeme Swann has returned home to support his family and spend time with his daughter who is currently unwell. Swann will return to India ahead of the first Test in Ahmedabad, commencing November 15," ECB said in a statement.
"This is a personal matter and we would ask for everyone to give Graeme and his family privacy. We will not be making any further comment at this time," ECB statement read.
While Swann's absence will add more woes to England team management, as Steve Finn and Stuart Broad are also nursing injuries which puts more pressure on Andy Flower, England coach especially for the final practice match against Haryana.
Steven Finn picked up a thigh injury on the first day of the tour, he has to recover completely, while Stuart Broad has to recover from an ankle injury which makes him doubtful starters for the first Test against India that starts on November 15.
This further suggests that England will be without their four frontline bowlers - Stuart Broad, Steven Finn, Graeme Swann and James Anderson for the final practice match against Haryana.
