Ahmedabad, Nov 11: Jonathan Trott's century was the highlight of final day's play as England drew their four-day warm-up game against Haryana after coming close to four wickets from a win here on Sunday.
After Trott, batting as an opener, retired hurt for 101, England bowlers pushed hard for a victory after setting a target of 442. Haryana were struggling at 133/6 in 42 overs when both teams agreed to bring down the curtains on the game.
England, in second innings, declared at 254/6 in 75.2 overs.
All three of England's tour games too ended in draws. They played India A, Mumbai A earlier.
First Test against India begins here on November 15.
In the first innings, Kevin Pietersen had struck a century. Nick Compton scored half centuries in both innings and is likely to open batting in first Test with captain Alastair Cook.
