Mumbai, Nov 27: India have retained Harbhajan Singh for the third Test against England while Umesh Yadav has been ruled out. There are no other changes made by the selectors on Tuesday.

Yadav was out of Mumbai Test too and Ashok Dinda had brought in as cover. So, virtually the same squad has been named. The Indian board had announced that they would select squads for third and fourth Tests. But they have chose only for third Test. Maybe the selectors want to see how the team performs and ring in changes for final Test.

They have also postponed the naming of squad for the two Twenty20 Internationals. The panel was to announce the team for T20s against England but will now pick them along with the squad for fourth Test later, BCCI said.

The selection committee, headed by Sandeep Patil met here at the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) headquarters and picked the squad. The meeting was attended by India captain MS Dhoni and coach Duncan Fletcher. Bowling coach Joe Dawes was also present.

Sachin Tendulkar, who has been under fire for failing consistently in recent times, has been retained. There have been debates in the last couple of days whether the Master Blaster should retire or not.

The third Test begins in Kolkata's Eden Gardens on December 5 while the fourth and final Test will be played in Nagpur from December 13.

India began the series with a nine-wicket win in Ahmedabad. However, they were humiliated by 10 wickets on a spinning track in Mumbai.

India Test squad: MS Dhoni (captain, wicketkeeper), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Cheteshwar Pujara, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Pragyan Ojha, R Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Ashok Dinda, Ajinkya Rahane, Harbhajan Singh, Murali Vijay.
