Kolkata, Dec 1: Indian players will arrive in Kolkata for the third Test against England, on Sunday. The third Test begins at Eden Gardens on December 5, Wednesday.
England team landed in the city on Friday. Indian players who returned home after the second Test in Mumbai, will reach Kolkata in batches.
The four-match series is currently tied 1-1. India won the first Test in Ahmedabad by nine wickets while England squared the rubber in Mumbai by 10-wicket win.
With four days for the start of the match, the Eden Gardens pitch has been in the focus. India captain MS Dhoni has asked for a turning track again and curator Prabir Mukherjee has hit out against the skipper's demand. Mukherjee has gone on "medical leave" in protest on Saturday.
The fourth and final Test of the series is in Nagpur from December 13.
