Bangalore, Dec 3: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials will today (December 3) visit the M Chinnaswamy Stadium to inspect the facilities ahead of Pakistan team's tour to India later this month.
The four-member PCB team, which completed their tour of Kolkata's Eden Gardens on Sunday, will be at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium this afternoon.
"The PCB team is scheduled to arrive for inspection of stadium at 1.30PM," a Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) official told ThatsCricket on Monday.
M Chinnaswamy Stadium is the venue for India-Pakistan first Twenty20 International on December 25, Christmas Day.
PCB team was happy with the Eden Gardens' facilities. PCB media manager Nadeem Sarwar was quoted by PTI as saying: "We are very happy with the arrangements. We spoke the the commissioner of police (R K Pachnanda) in the morning and he has assured me of a smooth conduct. It's a peaceful place. I don't think there will be any trouble."
Pakistan will play two T20Is and three One Day Internationals during their short tour to India.
Pakistan team will land in India on December 22. After the first T20I in Bangalore on December 25, they leave for Ahmedabad, which will host the second T20I on December 27.
The first three ODIs will be played in Chennai (December 30), Kolkata (January 3) and Delhi (January 6).
