Kolkata, Dec 4: MS Dhoni, the most successful wicketkeeper for India in Tests, is ready to reach a milestone in the third Test against England at Eden Gardens.
The Indian captain is set to join Rahul Dravid in the 200 club. Dravid, who is retired now, is the most successful catcher in Test cricket with 210.
Dhoni is just three short of completing 200 catches behind the stumps. So far, he has 197 catches and 30 stumpings.
His total dismissals of 227 is India's highest. Former stumper Syed Kirmani is second in the list with 198 dismissals (160 catches and 38 stumpings). Kirmani achieved them in 88 Tests.
The 31-year-old Dhoni has played 71 Tests and will be India's first wicketkeeper to pouch 200 catches. It might happen in Kolkata when the Test against England starts on Wednesday (December 5).
