New Delhi, Dec 13: Former India cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth on Wednesday clarified that there were talks about Dhoni's sacking during the meetings after Mohinder Amarnath's interview created a flutter in the Indian cricket team.
Reacting to the former Indian cricketer's comments, Srikkanth said "There are arguments in the selection meetings, but at the end of the day there is a consensus, because we believe it's for the good of the country and for the team."

Moreover Srikkanth also blasted Amarnath for revealing the issues that were discussed during the meetings.
"So many things are discussed in the meetings, but you don't come out and tell that to everyone. It's not right for anyone to come out in public and say what happened in the selection meeting," he added.
Amarnath on Wednesday had said that "N Srinivasan overruled Dhoni's removal. Why do you need selectors if one man has to be at the helm of everything," he told NDTV.
He also told that the selectors should have a free hand and added that he wasn't angry with anyone having made such comments.
"I'm not angry with anyone. I don't want any controversy, but I was pushed to wall (when he was the head selector). Selectors should have a free hand, one just can't overrule their decision," Amarnath said.
