Dharamsala to host Mumbai-Punjab game

Dharamsala, Dec 22: Sachin Tendulkar's Mumbai Indians will play at HPCA Stadium Dharamsala for the first time on May 17, 2013 in IPL season 6 against Kings XI Punjab. It will be the 69th match of the tournament. Like last season, Dharamsala will have only two matches of IPL 6. On May 16, Kings XI Punjab will play against Royal Challenger Bangalore.

The sixth season of the IPL is all set to kick off on April 3 at the Eden Gardens between home team Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils. The format however, remains the same with every one of the nine teams playing each other on home and away basis.

There will be a total of 72 matches, finishing on May 19 with a match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkota Knight Riders at Hyderabad before the start of play-offs. The final will be played on May 26 at Kolkota.
