Personally missing Sachin a lot: Yuvraj

Kolkata, Jan 3: India's Yuvraj Singh has expressed his displeasure with Sachin Tendulkar's ODI retirement and said he would miss the legendary cricketer a lot.

India's World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh added that the team would miss the master blaster in the dressing room.

"Personally, it's a very sad thing for me that he would not be there in the ODI dressing room. Certainly a great player has gone from ODIs. I will personally miss him a lot.

The legendary cricketer decided to draw curtains on his ODI career on Dec 23. Sachin Tendulkar decided to quit ODIs having recorded 18426 runs off 463 ODIs, at an average of 44.83 including 49 tons, 96 half centuries during his ODI career spanning 23 years.

Yuvraj Singh, an admirer of Sachin on Wednesday admitted that he would personally miss the legend a lot and was more than a guide, friend and team mate for the World Cup hero.

"There is no point talking about his records. If we do so, it will take at least a year to complete. He was someone whom I looked up to as an elder brother," he said.
