Karachi, Jan 8: Pakistan's Nasir Jamshed who scored back-to-back centuries against India and was given the man of the series award for his exploits, forgot to carry his trophy as he was in a hurry to reach the airport.
Nasir Jamshed, the highest run scorer in the bilateral series against India, collected 241 runs off 3 matches at an average of 120.50 including 2 back-to-back hundreds in the first two ODIs.
Jamshed was the only Pakistan batsman to score a ton against India in the recently concluded ODI series.
The man who tormented India in the first two ODIs to wrap the series for his team forgot to carry his man of the series trophy with him, as he was in a hurry.
"In the rush to get to the airport I forgot my trophy but the team management says I will get it soon," Jamshed said.
Pakistan cricketers received a rousing welcome after their series win against India in India.
"But the welcome we have got today is really out of this world and it shows just how important it was for us to win this series for the people," the left-hander said.
