New Delhi, Jan 9: England's Kevin Pietersen has termed India's Yuvraj Singh as a 'danger man' ahead of the team's ODI series against India starting on Jan 11.

Pietersen speaking to reporters during an event in Delhi, said that the World Cup winning hero could be the most destructive batsman, according to report on 'The Sun'.

'Yuvraj can take the game away from us'

"Yuvraj is the most destructive batsman in the Indian line-up," Pietersen was quoted as saying by The Sun.

"We need get to get him early, or else he can take away the match from us," Pietersen was quoted as saying.

Though the cancer-fighter is struggling to strike form in the ODIs, Yuvraj Singh emerged as the highest run scorer for India against Pakistan in the T20Is with 82 runs at an average of 41.

He had picked 6 wickets off the two T20 Internationals played against England in Dec 2012, which also suggests that Yuvraj could be very dangerous.

Since Yuvraj Singh had dismissed the destructive England batsman four times, most by any left-arm bowler, Pietersen feels Yuvraj Singh could be dangerous against India in the upcoming ODI series starting Jan 11.

The stylish left-hander playing the ODI series against England, would also like to strike form at the earliest and torment the visitors as they have returned after winning the Test series 2-1.
