Bangalore, Jan 22: Paceman Zaheer Khan, who is here at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) undergoing rehabilitation, will miss Mumbai's Ranji Trophy final against Saurashtra starting from January 26 at Wankhede Stadium.
Zaheer, who is suffering from calf injury, is expected to be at NCA for another 10 days.
"Zaheer Khan is undergoing rehabilitation at NCA and is expected to be here for another 10 days," an NCA official told ThatsCricket on Tuesday.
The left-arm speedster sustained injury during Mumbai's Ranji Trophy game against Gujarat last month.
Zaheer, who was dropped from the Test squad against England, will be hoping to be fit and win back his place ahead of the next month's four-Test series against Australia.
The NCA official also confirmed that few other players are presently training at NCA.
Irfan Pathan, Parvinder Awana, Munaf Patel, L Balaji and Rahul Sharma are the players currently at NCA, which is situation inside M Chinnaswamy Stadium premises.
