The evening temperature at Dharamsala was -1 celsius while the forecast for the fifth ODI could be a degree warmer at 0.
With the BCCI finalising Dharamsala as one of the venues for the India-England ODI series, did the officials take weather into consideration as it is very cold during these months and playing in such conditions could be very difficult.
Moreover, the venue is all set to host its first ODI on Sunday as it has raised many eyebrows questioning the logic behind selecting the venue.
Though England players are accustomed to cold conditions, the temperature at Dharamsala was very cold as Kevin Pietersen also tweeted on his micro-blogging site expressing how cold the weather was at Dharamsala on Thursday night.
"My toes are going to fall off! Too cold???????? or too hot??????????? Google Dharamshala's temps & you'll see," he tweeted.
According to the meteorological officer, the weather would be sunny on Sunday when the two teams take the field for one last time in the series.
