Following a poor series against England, as Ajinkya Rahane recorded a mere 51 runs off 3 games at an average of 17 which included a highest score of 47.
Talking about Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Dravid said the youngster is highly talented and would surely bounce back as he is undergoing a rough patch.
"He had a few good knocks... Ups and downs are always there. It is tough and adds pressure. He has the talent and will bounce back," said Dravid when asked about the young batsman.
Though Rahane scored 47 in one of the games, he was dimissed for 4 and 0 in the subsequent matches that hurt the team's batting which also forced the team management to drop Rahane for the last two ODIs against England.
Rahul Dravid who is in Jaipur alongwith his Rajasthan Royalsteam mates at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium for a camp ahead of the sixth edition of IPL, felt that Rahane should be given more opportunities and the talented cricketer would surely strike form.
