Lillee to train Aussie pacers ahead of India tour

Melbourne, Jan 31: Cricket Australia on Thursday has roped in legendary bowler Dennis Lillee to train Australian pacers ahead of their Test series against India, starting Feb 22.

According to Cricket Australia, the former Aussie pacer would take up the role of a mentor to the young pacers ahead of the four-match Test series.

Lillee roped in to train Aussie pacers

A veteran of 70 Tests and 63 ODIs, Dennis Lillee is one of the greatest bowlers of all time. Having served MRF Pace Foundation for 25 years, Dennis Lillee's inputs ahead of the Test series would certainly help the young pacers.

"He will work closely with full-time bowling coach Ali de Winter as Australia prepare to tackle India in a Test series next month and then the highly-anticipated Ashes series starting in July," Cricket Australia said.
