New Delhi, Feb 6: Unmukt Chand, India's U-19 World Cup winning captain on Tuesday said that he is not worried about India call-up rather focusing on performing well in the domestic circuit.

Unmukt has been very promising especially after leading India to U-19 World Cup title. Having shared the dressing room with the likes of England's Kevin Pietersen, South Africa's Morne Morkel and others, the Delhi boy has been in the limelight. Apart from taking tips from the stalwarts, the all rounder has also shown a lot of improvement in the last season of IPL.

Not worried about India call-up: Unmukt

His performance in Ranji Trophy was quite reasonable with over 400 runs in 8 matches at an average of 37.

"I am taking one step at a time. Last Ranji season was okay but not as good as I would have liked it to be. I am looking forward to Ranji one-dayers to perform and hope for things to move in right direction," he said.

Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Unmukt clarified that he wasn't looking at playing for India for the next few years, as he is totally focused on performing well in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and IPL for the next few months.

"I am not looking too far ahead. My aim is to score runs regularly. Those things (national selection) are not in my hand," said Unmukt Chand.
