Sachin's piece of advice for Ishant

For a legend like Sachin Tendulkar who has witnessed a lot of ups and downs during his 23-year career, any frustration shown on field by disrespecting the cricketing gear, would certainly hurt the master.

During a practice session, Sachin Tendulkar observed the lanky pacer Ishant Sharma, who was not happy with his efforts at the session.

Following a poorly executed delivery, a frustrated Ishant Sharma kicked the ball which caught Sachin Tendulkar's eye, as the master blaster advised Ishant to be patient and also told not to show the frustration on the ball since it had given him a career.

"It is because of this ball that you have what you have got in life, without this ball you have nothing. Treat it with the respect it is due," advised Sachin, who has a lot of regard for his cricketing gear.

Sachin Tendulkar has been guiding his teammates to respect the game and the equipments that help them enhance their cricketing skills which further enhances his professionalism.

Paddy Upton, who was associated with Team India as an assistant coach during Gary Kirsten's era had shared the incident while talking about Sachin Tendulkar's generosity and professionalism. The former South African cricketer is a part of the Mumbai Indians support team in IPL.
