India's preparatory camp begins Feb 15

Bangalore, Feb 14: Indian Test players will start their preparations for Australia series here on Friday (February 15) at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) situated inside M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The 15-member squad led by MS Dhoni will train for four days ahead of the first Test against Australia in Chennai from February 22.

All players are expected to arrive in the city today. Cheteshwar Pujara, who got married on Wednesday, will also join the camp.

A group of young fast bowlers, selected by BCCI in Open Trials across the country, will bowl at Indian batsmen during the four-day camp.

Sachin Tendulkar will be meeting his India team-mates after a gap of two months. Tendulkar retired from One Day Internationals in December, 2012 and he was not part of England and Pakistan ODI series.

India squad: MS Dhoni (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Pragyan Ojha, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ishant Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashok Dinda, Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Murali Vijay.
