Chennai, Feb 24: It was a Super Sunday for MS Dhoni and Team India. The Indian captain smashed a double century against Australia on the third day of the first Test and in the process set several records in Chennai.
At the end of day's play, Dhoni was unbeaten on 206 and has few more records in sight on Monday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

# Dhoni registered the highest Test score by an Indian wicketkeeper. On 193, he beat a long-standing mark of 192 held by Budhi Kunderan against England in 1964, also scored in Chennai.
# Dhoni registered the highest score in Test history by a wicketkeeper-captain beating Englishman Alec Stewart's 164 Vs South Africa in 1998.
# Dhoni became the first Indian wicketkeeper to register a double hundred.
# Dhoni also became the first Indian stumper to complete 4,000 Test runs during this innings today.
# Dhoni registered his career best Test score, eclipsing his previous high of 148 against Pakistan in 2006.
# This was also the highest score by an Indian captain against Australia, bettering Mohammad Azharuddin's 163 not out in 1998 in Kolkata.
# Dhoni became the first wicketkeeper to score a double century in a single day.
# Dhoni is also the first Indian to score 200 runs against Australia in a single day. Previous best was 195 by Virender Sehwag in Melbourne, 2003.
