The Bengal cricketer picked up a shoulder injury during Vijay Hazare trophy semi-final against Delhi at Visakhapatnam.
The injury-prone cricketer reached Bangalore on Sunday for rehabilitation, at National Cricket Academy.
Talking to PTI on his arrival, Tiwary said "The physio will be assessing my condition over there and then take a call on my rehab programme."
When asked if it was a shoulder dislocation, since he has been suffering a serious shoulder injury for quite sometime now, the Bengal cricketer refused to comment on that as he termed it a soft-tissue damage.
"I am not very sure although the bone popped out from the shoulder region after I fell awkwardly. As of now, it looks like there has been a soft-tissue damage," Tiwary said.
Though there aren't any important tournaments coming up this month, other than Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (National T20), Manoj Tiwary would get a month's time to become fit for the sixth edition of the lucrative league that starts from April 3, 2013.
"No one likes to be out of action and it's really frustrating to get injured. I stopped the ball but then this happened. Hopefully, I will recover in time," a dejected Tiwary said about the incident.
Due to a severe side strain injury he had to miss the Test series against England and the ODI and T20 series against Pakistan.
