Hyderabad, Mar 5: MS Dhoni, on Tuesday, became India's most successful Test captain, surpassing former skipper Sourav Ganguly.
Dhoni led India to an innings and 135-run victory over Australia in the second Test at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium for his 22nd success as India captain.
Dhoni has captained India in 45 Tests and won 22 with 11 draws and 12 losses. Ganguly was India's captain for 49 Tests.
Asked about the record in the post-match presentation, Dhoni said he had a good team which resulted in those wins.
"I have got a very good side. Credit goes to each and everyone including the support staff," said Dhoni.
