Struggling Sehwag likely to be dropped

Mumbai, Mar 7: You seldom change a winning combination. But two players in the current Indian line-up might face the axe as the selectors meet today (March 7) to pick the squad for the final two Tests against Australia.

India have surged to a 2-0 lead and cannot lose the series. They have dominated both Tests and it will be interesting to see whether the selectors retain the same 15 or make any changes.

Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh are the two who are likely to be replaced. Sehwag has not been in form for a long time and Harbhajan failed to impress in the first two Tests.

There are reports that Sehwag is likely to be dropped. However, it is still not clear whether same fate will be handed to Harbhajan.

Even former India captain Rahul Dravid said it is time for the selectors to take a call on Sehwag.

The third Test between India and Australia starts in Mohali on March 14.
