Before the start of the fourth and final Test against Australia at Feroz Shah Kotla, there were rumours that Tendulkar could call it a day after the Test. But all those speculations were put to rest as Tendulkar did not make any official announcement after India clinched a 4-0 whitewash over Australia on Sunday.
Tendulkar, who quit One Day Internationals in December, 2012, is under pressure to give up the longer version as well. He did not have a good series against Australia as he struck only one half century. In Delhi, he made scores of 32 and 1. The Master Blaster is without a Test hundred since January 2011.
"Do not speculate on Sachin's career. In 2005, you (media) also said the same thing but that never happened," Dhoni said after the match in Delhi on Sunday (March 24).
India's next Test series will be against South Africa in South Africa in the month of November this year.
