Mumbai, Mar 31: Kolkata Knight Riders' owner Shah Rukh Khan will have to watch his team's IPL 6 match against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium not at the venue but on TV after Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) decided to stick with the ban imposed on the Bollywood actor.
Last year, during IPL 5, Shah Rukh was banned from Wankhede Stadium for a brawl during KKR's match. The actor had got into a scuffle with security personnel and had also threatened an MCA official following which the cricket association decided to impose a five-year ban.
"The MCA stand remains the same. The managing committee had taken a decision of imposing a five-year ban on him (Khan) last year, and it will continue this season too," MCA president Ravi Savant told "The Indian Express".
KKR will meet Mumbai Indians on May 7 at Wankhede Stadium.
