IPL Records: McCullum and Gayle on top

Bangalore, April 2: Two-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) hold the record for the highest team total in the history of IPL while Rajasthan Royals (RR) have the ignominy of registering the lowest score.

CSK's 246/5 against RR in 2010 is the highest team score in five editions of IPL. RR were shot out for just 56 by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2009 and that is the lowest team score.

Among other batting records, Kolkata Knight Riders' Brendon McCullum is still on top of the list for his individual brilliance in the first match of the inaugural IPL in 2008. He had blitzed his way to 158 not out against RCB and that feat has not bee matched.

In bowling, Mumbai Indians' Lasith Malinga is the most successful bowler with 83 wickets.
