Bangalore, Apr 3: The big man has landed in the city. We are talking about the big Jamaican - Chris Gayle. The left-handed opener has joined Royal Challengers Bangalore for IPL 6 and trained at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday evening (April 2) before rain arrived.

The 33-year-old Gayle batted in the 'nets' under floodlights at the stadium. Muttaiah Muralitharan and other bowlers bowled at Gayle. After few defensive shots, Gayle was at his usual best - smashing the ball high and towards the boundary as organisers were giving final touches to the stadium ahead of Thursday's match against Mumbai Indians.

Yet again, RCB will bank of Gayle for explosive starts. That elusive title will be RCB's if Gayle fires again.

Here are the images from RCB's training.
