IPL 2013 Match 5 Highlights: CSK Vs MI

Chennai, Apr 7: Yet another heart-stopper was witnessed in IPL 2013. Mumbai Indians managed to overcome MS Dhoni's batting heroics to snatch a nine-run victory over Chennai Super Kings on Saturday night (April 6).

In CSK's chase, it turned out to be one-man show, Dhoni. His blitz took CSK closer to victory but Kieron Pollard pulled off a stunning catch at the boundary on the first ball of the final over to break home fans' hearts. CSK were chasing 149 to win.

Here are the highlights of this match.

# CSK needed 12 off the final over bowled by Munaf Patel. MS Dhoni was on strike, playing a gem of an innings. A length ball from Munaf looked to sail over the rope but the tall Pollard intercepted the ball and pulled off a brilliant catch and that ended the home team's chances

# Dhoni was the ninth wicket to fall and with 12 required off five balls, debutant Ankit Rajpoot could get only two runs and Mumbai opened their account in IPL 6

# In the last three overs, CSK had a task of scoring 40. Dhoni smashed two fours and a six off Pollard in the 18th over and CSK were in sight of a win as long as Dhoni was there

# Pollard was declared Man-of-the-match

# Dhoni blasted a 26-ball 51 with five boundaries and three sixes. The Chennai captain's 50 came off 24 deliveries

# Dhoni came out to bat when Chennai were 58/4 in 10.2 overs

# Chennai opener Michael Hussey enjoyed two lives. He was dropped by Ambati Rayudu and Rohit Sharma

# Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha was the best bowler for Mumbai with 2/16 in 4 overs
