New Delhi, Apr 21: Finally, Delhi Daredevils ended their six-match losing streak in IPL 2013. And they won their first match in style - by nine wickets, courtesy Virender Sehwag and captain Mahela Jayawardene's superb half centuries. Sehwag's blitz of 95 not out and Jayawardene's 59 floored Mumbai Indians at the Feroz Shah Kotla here on Sunday.
The Sehwag of the old was on display here today. The opener's aggressive stroke-play was on full view and MI bowlers were punished. MI's 161 looked too small with Sehwag blazing his way to a 57-ball 95 not out. Jayawardene too was impressive with a 43-ball 59. DD won in 17 overs with nine wickets to spare.
