Jaipur, Apr 29: In a tense last-over finish, Stuart Binny hit a boundary on the penultimate ball of the final over to give Rajasthan Royals a four-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2013 here at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Monday. A win ensured that RR maintained their unbeaten record at home this season with fifth straight success.


RR's victory was set up by young Sanju Samson, Shane Watson and Brad Hodge. RR successfully chased down 172 in 19.5 overs. There was drama in the last over where RR lost two wickets when only 6 were needed off 6 deliveries. But Binny hit R Vinay Kumar for a four in the mid-wicket region to end a thriller.

Earlier, Vinay's 3 sixes in the final over lifted Royal Challengers Bangalore to 171/6 in 20 overs. Vinay finished with a 6-ball 22 not out and there were contributions at the top from Chris Gayle (34) and captain Virat Kolhi (32) which helped RCB.
