I always respect Dravid, says Gambhir
Kolkata, May 4: Kolkata Knight Riders' captain Gautam Gambhir clarified on Saturday that "no harsh words" were exchanged between him and Rajasthan Royals skipper Rahul Dravid during their IPL 2013 game at Eden Gardens on Friday night (May 3).

Gambhir took to the micro blogging site Twitter to clear the air on the controversy where he and Manvinder Bisla were seen sledging Dravid.

"Guys, u have got it all wrong. No harsh words exchanged between me n Rahul bhai. He was n will always be a respected teammate. No fuss plz," Gambhir wrote on his twitter page (@GautamGambhir).

The left-hander went on to say that he always respected Dravid.

In another tweet, he added: "Guess we are always obsessed wid some drama or spice. Sorry none existed between me and rahul. Always respect him."

Gambhir and Bisla were seen targeting Dravid. Bisla was the first to have a got at Dravid and Gambhir too joined to say few words to the former India captain.

Watching the incident, former Australia spinner Shane Warne asked on twitter: "Question cricket followers - is Ghambir in the top 3 annoying cricketers on the planet ???.".
