Pune, May 9: Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders kept their playoff hopes alive with an easy 46-run victory over Pune Warriors here on Thursday night in IPL 2013. This was 11th loss for Pune and they stay at the bottom of points table with 4 points in 13 games. KKR are 7th with 10 points from 13 matches. Pune were bowled out for 106 chasing 153.

Earlier, captain Gautam Gambhir scored 50 to guide KKR to 152/6 in 20 overs. Ryan ten Doeschate, playing his first match of the season, was the next best after Gambhir.
